Dissecting the mutational drivers behind interclonal cooperativity in Cancer - Oslo University Hospital - Oslo

Study of the tumour/host interaction within a framework of cooperation between an oncogene and a tumour suppressor, as well as the associated cell biology, in the Drosophila model.

The main objective is to demystify the crucial role of cellular interactions in oncogenic cooperation, seeking to understand how these interactions influence tumour development, invasion and malignancy. In fact, previous reasearches shows how genetic mutations like Ras, Src or scrib cooperate to promote tumour growth. They highlight the importance of cellular interactions in tumour progression, emphasising the propagation of signals such as JNK and JAK/STAT.
